Asia Regional E-Campaigning Training
The Strategic e-Campaigning Workshop was held in Asia as part of the Violence is Not Our Culture campaign being managed by the Women Redefining and Reclaiming Culture Programme (WRRC) and the Women Living Under Muslim Laws (WLUML) international solidarity network.
The main goal of the workshop was to deepen and widen the understanding of the SKSW partners in the use of social networking tools to support their advocacy and campaign work. It was expected that by the end of the workshop, the participants will have learned about social networking can be used to enhance their campaigns.
Specifically, this included:
· a good understanding by the participants on the key elements and criteria of an effective advocacy / communication strategy
· a good grasp by the participants of internet / mobile tools which they could use in their advocacy/ communication strategy
