In 2008 the WGNRR Regional consultation meeting in Africa will be linked to the AWID Forum.
This year’s Africa RCM is to strengthen linkages and facilitate networking between WGNRR members both in Africa and other regions. It will address regional reproductive and sexual health and rights (RSHR) issues and have a specific focus on this year’s call for action “Women and Conflict”.
Linking with the broader women’s movement will happen through participation at the AWID forum that will be organised directly after the RCM in Cape Town, South Africa.

The RCM will take place from November 11-13. The AWID forum will be held from November 14-17 and focuses on the power of movements.

WGNRR members worldwide are welcome to participate in the Africa RCM although a specific focus will be on African participants.

For information on how to participate in the event and other inquiry, please contact Irina Otmakhova: membership@wgnrr.org. Kindly inform us if you are planning to attend the AWID? Those attending the AWID on personal or organisational title are welcome to come early and participate in the RCM in Cape Town.
